Known by the locals as “The Creek,” this area has changed some over time, but always holds a great deal of appeal for artists all over the region. It is not uncommon to find an artist friend set up near Zeek’s bait shop with easel and oils. A walk through a nearby neighborhood brings you to the beach on the west side of the island, beyond the marsh, where sandbars ebb and flow with the tides.
